Plans, billing and cancelling

1. Plans and billing cycle

• EngageDesk is priced per person who can sign in, per month, in South African rand, excluding VAT. VAT is added where it applies.
• Add-ons (such as Finance) cost one price a month for the account, before VAT, whatever its plan or how many people sign in. The Cash & margins add-on is R750 a month.
• What each plan includes is shown under Settings → Plan and billing before you choose. Questions about prices: info@ttdconsulting.net.

• One billing cycle: monthly. The first payment is taken when you choose a plan. After that Payfast charges the same card each month on the same day, for the plan, the people who can sign in and the add-ons at that time. We only bill monthly, by card.
• Each payment is listed under Settings → Plan and billing, and we send a tax invoice on request. If you buy through the Microsoft commercial marketplace, Microsoft bills you on its own terms.
• We give at least 30 days' notice of a price change, and it applies from your next period.
• If a payment fails, everything keeps working for 7 days. If it stays unpaid, the account becomes read-only, then suspended and, if still unpaid, deleted, as in section 2 of the terms of service (read-only for 30 days, suspended for 90, with an email to the owners 7 days and 1 day before).

2. Cancelling

• The owner cancels any time under Settings → Plan and billing. No call or email is needed. Payfast stops charging at the end of the period you've paid for, and you keep full use until then.
• After it ends, the account is read-only for 30 days so you can download everything; then the account and all its data are deleted. Backups keep a copy for up to 30 more days, then it's gone. The one exception is our record of your payments and tax invoices, which we keep for five years as South African tax law requires (see the privacy statement).
• If you bought through the Microsoft commercial marketplace, cancel where you bought it (the Azure portal or the Microsoft 365 admin center), not here.
• The owner can also close the account at once and delete everything, under Settings → Data and privacy.
• On the free trial nothing is charged, so there is nothing to cancel.
