Sub-processors
The services EngageDesk uses to process customers' information, what for, and where. TTD tells account owners of a new one at least 30 days before it's used.
Always
- Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd and affiliates): hosting, storage, backups, Key Vault and monitoring, in South Africa North; the web app's own files in West Europe; account emails (invitations and notices about the account, never a record's contents) through Azure Communication Services.
- Microsoft Entra ID: sign-in with Microsoft work accounts, in Microsoft's global service.
- Azure OpenAI Service (Microsoft): the AI features. A request may be processed outside South Africa; personal details are taken out first, and Microsoft doesn't use it to train models.
- Paystack (a Stripe company): card payments, when you pay by card. Paystack holds the card; EngageDesk keeps only a token to charge it each month.
- Microsoft commercial marketplace: billing, when you buy EngageDesk through it.
Only if your company connects them
- Microsoft Graph (Outlook mail and calendar), for each person who connects their own Outlook.
- Microsoft Partner Center, for co-sell referrals.
- Zoho Invoice (Zoho Corporation), to read your invoices and payments.
- Microsoft Teams, to post to your own channel.
- Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT (OpenAI) and Claude (Anthropic), when your people use EngageDesk from them: those services process what they ask and what EngageDesk answers, on their own terms with your company.
